Hey, I'm Jordan Pearce.

Marketing, development, and a security-first mindset

For 17 years, I've worked in internet marketing and web development, learning how businesses attract customers online and how technology can support their growth. My work spans website design and development, local search marketing, technical problem-solving, software tools, and consulting.

I hold a BA in Computer Science from San Diego State University (SDSU) and a BA in Cyber Security from the University of California, Berkeley. Those areas of study have shaped how I approach projects: with attention to both the customer experience and the underlying technology and security.

I've worked with state departments in Utah and Illinois on survival and missing-persons work involving cyber divisions, and I've also worked in search and rescue. Those experiences reinforced the importance of preparation, careful investigation, responsible information handling, teamwork, and attention to detail.

In Utah, I helped a good friend grow a cybersecurity consultancy, contributing as both a physical penetration tester and web penetration tester. That work expanded my experience with evaluating real-world security risks, identifying weaknesses, and helping organizations think more carefully about protection.

From Eagle Scout to search and rescue

My interest in the outdoors goes far beyond camping and storytelling. I'm an Eagle Scout, and the values of preparedness, leadership, service, and respect for the wilderness have stayed with me.

I've worked with Utah and Illinois state departments in survival and missing-persons work connected with cyber divisions, and I've also worked in search and rescue. That experience brought together outdoor readiness, locating missing people, investigative work, and technology.

Today, those experiences shape my interest in wilderness survival, hiking, camping, safety planning, and the true outdoor stories I share through my creative projects.

Helping local home service businesses grow

Today, most of my consulting work centers on local home service companies. I enjoy working with the people who keep communities running—contractors, technicians, and service providers who need their online presence to bring in real customers, not just traffic reports.

My approach brings marketing and development together. A strong local business website should be easy to use, technically sound, visible to nearby customers, and built around the services people are actually searching for.

Why I created Pearce Studios

Pearce Studios is where my professional experience and creative interests come together. I build software and tools that solve real problems, including Google Maps ranking and SEO intelligence applications. I also enjoy experimenting with AI, developing desktop applications, creating videos, and writing children's stories and campfire stories.

Not every project fits into the same category—and that's the point. Pearce Studios gives me a place to share useful tools, explore ideas, and keep building things that interest me.
